Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025, Princeton Community Village has provided high-quality low- and moderate-income housing for families and individuals since 1975. Today, the community offers a total of 263 homes. There are 71 one-bedroom apartments in Holly House, a six-story mid-rise building, and 167 two-, three-, and four-bedroom townhouses in the Village’s neighborhoods. The new Jim and Fannie Floyd House, opened in 2023, features 25 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The Ted Vial Club House was constructed in 1997 and provides a welcome place for the residents to participate in community activities and to use for special events.
“The Village” is located at Karl Light Boulevard off Bunn Drive at the top of the Princeton ridge and is nestled among the trees in a park-like setting. It is within walking distance to the Princeton Shopping Center. Public transportation is available from New Jersey Transit and the local FreeB bus. Community activities at Princeton Community Village include the Princeton Young Achievers after school program, a free, certified preschool for 3 & 4 year olds, and fitness classes through the Princeton YMCA.
Princeton Community Village, a HUD Section 236 development, receives selected Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) rental subsidies.
