Why PCH? Why were you interested in joining the PCH Board and working for affordable housing in Princeton?
I am inspired by the mission of Princeton Community Housing. Living in the town of Princeton provides families with incredible access to education, the arts, excellent healthcare, and a wonderful quality of life, and PCH works diligently to make this benefit accessible to more among us. I joined the board in 2021, representing Princeton Theological Seminary. The Seminary is one of the faith organizations that has supported PCH since its founding, and it is an honor to continue this important legacy in our community.
What is your professional background?
My vocation has been in serving the church and higher education. I currently serve as executive vice president at Princeton Theological Seminary. I am a Presbyterian pastor and also teach Old Testament.
How long have you been in the Princeton area and why did you come to this community?
I moved back to the Princeton area in 2015 to work at Princeton Seminary. Prior to that, I lived in Princeton as a graduate student at Princeton Seminary, and since those days Princeton has always felt like home.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy being outside in the beautiful open spaces of Princeton and Mercer County, including by hiking, kayaking, and riding my horse.
