Why PCH? Why were you interested in joining the PCH Board and working for affordable housing in Princeton? And how long have you been on the Board?
My search for housing when I moved here made me keenly aware of the need for affordable housing in the community. I learned about PCH through the YWCA Princeton, where I serve as a Director and Vice President at Large, and as their representative on the Community Board of Trustees of PCH.
What is your professional background?
I am an environmental and public health lawyer, a former Chair of the Environmental Law Section of the NJ State Bar Association, and served on the Warren Township Environmental Commission.
What other volunteer activities do you participate in?
In addition to the YWCA Princeton and PCH Community Board, I serve on the Adult Education Committee of the Jewish Center in Princeton and the Board of Trustees of Harvard Law School Association of New Jersey. I also served on the Princeton Dog Park Feasibility Task Force.
How long have you been in the Princeton area and why did you come to this community?
I am a long-time resident of New Jersey. When I decided to sell my house and move a couple of years ago, I did a far-reaching search of possible locations and decided on Princeton. I was attracted by the many cultural and educational possibilities here, the University, the restaurants, and walkability, among other things. Since moving here, I have discovered the many nearby parks and trails which I explore with my dog.
