The Muflam Family

Chris and Anna Muflam and their three children now reside at Princeton Community Village (PCV), arriving in Princeton three years ago after securing a diversity visa for travel to the United States from Cameroon, Africa. One of their main reasons for coming to the U.S. was for the education of their children. That goal is definitely being met – Joel, 19 is studying Business at Rutgers University and Jochebed, 17, has been accepted to Princeton University for September 2013, with a full scholarship in Economics/Public Policy. Ashley, 13, is enjoying basketball for now and is also just a few years away from college. Chris’s background in agriculture and his interest in environmental sustainability helped PCV win the Sustainable Princeton Leadership Award in 2009. Chris is employed as a financial consultant and Anna is employed as a preschool teacher.
